We always promised to share the Ups and the Downs of a growing tech business on this page. It’s certainly a rollercoaster but we also want to celebrate our successes. We’re therefore excited to share that July saw another record month for small business energy switches on the Tickd platform.

Rather than just shout about another record month, we prefer to share a real image of our month on month switches on the platform so that you can see the low volume of switches towards the end of 2022 during the energy crisis. Growing a business comes with it’s challenges, some in our control some out of our control. We’re pleased that it looks like the worse of the energy crisis is now behind us and the hard work we’ve been putting into the energy platform over the ‘quieter’ months are becoming worthwhile.

Energy brokers and energy suppliers need a more efficient way of processing small business energy contracts. Even in the darker moments of the energy crisis, our belief in our mission and the belief that the energy crisis was a bump in the road meant that we didn’t slow down the development of the platform, despite seeing a decrease in revenue.
